Wisconsin regular inland fishing season opens today. Wisconsin DNR announced to stock Black Earth Creek with 1,000 Rainbow Trout for spring 2009.
We saw many fisherman's cars parked along US-14. We fished at County-F access at first. I caught a small rainbow trout near the Shoe Box.
We moved to another access point we've never fished before but we had no luck. Then we headed up to Salmo Pond Park around noon.
I caught a nice Brown Trout on a pool. It was very crowded opening day.
