I went fishing after a long time. It's hot today and the water was high and murky.
Grasshopper were hopping about in the grass but I caught only one small brown by a parachute grasshopper imitation.
I caught other trout by a woolly bugger except the first rainbow. Woolly buggers always work well in the south west of Wisconsin.
I like olive color. Today's trophy was 20 inches long rainbow trout. I didn't see any other fishermem in the morning today.
Wisconsin inland trout fishing will be closed at the end of this month.
