This is the last inland trout fishing of the year. I went to the Wolf River, my favorite river in Wisconsin. I've never catch any trout on the Wolf before but, finally, I got trout here this time. Wolf River flows through Langlade county in the north east of Wisconsin. The nearest town is Antigo, about 200 miles from Madison. The Wolf is also popular with canoeists and rafting people. There are many boulders on the bottom of the river. We need to be very careful when we wade in the river. The water was clear, but cold and fast today. I fished at Wolf Drive access point. QED
